What is PASS?

The PASS Program - Positive Actions for  Student Success - is a program designed to aid students and teachers in reaching their curricular goals. Students who will be referred fit into one of the following categories:

  1. Have missed a week or two of school due to illness;
  2. Are having trouble understanding the curriculum and need a little support;
  3. Have completed all the curriculum goals ahead of their class and need some enrichment activities.
Teachers will refer students through an online form. The Teacher-Librarian, Alison Edwards, will then schedule students to see her, generally during the class  for which they need help. Alison and the classroom teacher will have discussed the needs of the student as well as the overall goal for the sessions. The goal is for them to be caught up and ready to continue the curriculum with their class after two or three sessions.
